"Give Mom a Snuggle for Mother's Day" Millie's Hallmark Partners With Mount Prospect Historical Society to Raise Funds for the Restoration of the Central School Building

Gavin Kleespies, Executive Director Mount Prospect Historical Society, working with Bob Dooley and Bill Reddy owners of Millie's Hallmark, are happy top announce a unique program to help raise awareness and funds for the restoration of the Central School Building. The fund raising program "Give Mom a Snuggle for Mother's Day” offers Millie's Hallmark shoppers, looking for a Mother's day gift, the opportunity to purchase "The World's Most Huggable Gund Snuggle Bear.” The 11.5 inch tall Snuggle Bear complete with its own "Personalized Number 1 Mom Certificate” and identical to the well recognized Snuggle Bear in TV commercials is available exclusively at Millie's Hallmark for $15.00. Proceeds of the purchase will go directly to the Mount Prospect Historical Society campaign for the restoration of the Central School building. Gavin said "For the past four years the society has been focused on raising funds to move the Central School to the Historical Society location on South Maple Street. With the move fast approaching, the focus has shifted to raising funds for the restoration of the Central School building at its new location. The Mount Prospect Historical Society is enthusiastic about the opportunity to partner with Millie's Hallmark to raise public awareness and funds for the restoration of the Central School Building."

Both Bill and Bob believe in supporting efforts of community wide organizations such as the Mount Prospect Historical Society and their efforts to preserve the history of Mount Prospect for all residents. Bill said "Millie's Hallmark has been a part of this community for over 25 years and will be for another 25 years. We believe in a philosophy of local business ownership with community involvement and support".

The Mother's Day window at Millie's Hallmark is decorated with the Mother's Day Snuggle Bears floating on a sea of clouds. The 11.5 inch Snuggle Bears in the window display are limited availability, highly sought, Gotta Getta Gund Plush products.

Snuggle Bears are available now, but there are a limited number of Snuggle Bears.
